Customizing a lunch bag can be done in the following ways.
Basic Handmade
Material Preparation
Main Material: Quilting (57cm x 76cm, trim the bottom corners to 7.5cm x 6.5cm).
Accessories: Dark colorblock material (59cm x 18cm, trim the ends to 6.5cm x 11cm), inner pocket fabric (60cm x 25cm), zipper (60cm), strap (110cm x 3cm), and accessories such as snaps.
Production Steps
Securing the Strap: Align the raw edges of the strap with the center line of the cover, securing them 8cm from the center.
Joining the Corners: Align the center line of the dark colorblock material and sew 1cm on each side.
Attaching the Zipper: Insert the zipper into the ends of the lining, cover the cover, and sew on both sides, leaving a 1cm allowance.
Side Hems: Sew the sides of the lining and cover together, then flip the bag over and attach the zipper and snaps.
Creative DIY Solutions
Denim Updos: Cut up old jeans and add denim or leather patches for durability.
Graffiti Decoration: Use leather paint or markers to create designs on the bag. It's recommended to test the color on scraps first.
Simple Updos
Woven Bag Combination: Use basic materials like snakeskin or synthetic bags, and layer them with transparent tape and sponge for cushioning. This is suitable for short trips.
Plastic Container Updos: Thick plastic bottles like Pocari Sweat bottles can be cut and used as storage boxes. Add cardboard or woven bags for added storage.
Tip: When making this, remember to iron it at high temperature before quilting and sewing to prevent bubbles.
